The Festival of Battles is a really great idea. However, it seems as if it was rushed into, which is a problem. Based on Zeldapedia's Temple of Courage, I came up with a potential layout that we could use.
The way it would look with the current fight is as followed: User:Desolateutopia/FoB
Of course, we would make this into a template since looking at the code there's the possibility of confusion. The template will most likely be Template:FoB.
As we already do, we switch between Slaying, Energy, and Rainbow doing the intro and the commenting, however, I'm very bad when it comes to introductions and things like that. And it doesn't rotate nicely with four people. If I were assigned the job picking the colors, because, as you see above, the colors are working greatly with the Pokémon image. I think, with my history of making monobook themes, I should be assigned to pick the colors and leave the introductions and commenting to the other admins.
Well, the current look might have been made in a rush, so this is a nicer view, though it could use more work. As for the commentators, some of us have discussed that we should include other editors, who have done a lot of contributions recently. Energy X 19:59, October 29, 2013 (UTC)
- Honestly, I would love to see more comments from other users. I'd love to see suggestions of what Pokémon we should have competing. I'm not entirely sure what the goal of the Festival of Battles is since I came back a bit after it was made. Is it a "Which Pokémon is your favorite?" or a "Which Pokémon would win in a battle?". How should we go about everything. I feel like we should get all that sorted out in this forum. How will the Pokémon be selected? Do they have to be of the same type? Another thing I think would be pretty cool: The users being a commenter were to act as if the Pokémon was their Pokémon. What do you think would benefit this view for the Festival of Battles? I'm open to any changes proposed. ∂εsσℓαтευтσρια (тαℓк) 20:22, October 29, 2013 (UTC)
