Hello fellow admins! I wanted to being up a few issues that I can't stop scratching my head about :P It is mostly regarding a few banned users and what we should do with them. I'll divide this topic into 3 sections to make the discussion easier to follow. Technology Wizard · talk

So I just wanted to make it clear that we are all "alright" with this user being banned. My question is: Should we lower the ban, leave the ban, or higher the ban? If you think we should do one of these, then simply place a:

Higher the ban:

Leave the ban: or

Lower the ban: I know you all might be in shock that I decided this, but I think his ban was a little too long. I mean yes he fought with another user, but we all do and 6 months is a long time in my opinion. I would propose reducing it about 1-3 months. If all he did was have a fight with a user, I think we should have some justice here. Technology Wizard · talk

Leave the Ban: He went psycho on everyone and insulted our admins and users, Plus he said he wasn't coming back, the ban should stay 100%. He also went and insulted our wiki afterwards, he really needs to stay banned. --Bullet Francisco (talk) 23:04, September 19, 2011 (UTC)

I believe we have talked about this before, but since we are talking about banned users, why not talk about it again? I think that this user is very useful to our community and should have his ban lowered. I mean he technically didn't do anything. He was told something and just didn't speak about it with us, which was wrong. But banning him for that long was not needed in my opinion and again I ask to leave reason with a vote. I know this is a tough topic, but it has to be done. I have read everything about his sockpuppetry and what not, so I know what his situation was. I think that we should leave him as banned, but I don't think his userpage and talk page should be deleted. I mean I have never heard of a practice where you delete someone's userpage just because they are perma-banned. I mean if his was deleted, then why wasn't this one deleted? I also have considered recommending reducing the ban to 2 years. It's not like he will be back then anyway, in my opinion. Technology Wizard · talk

Keep Ban: He does NOT deserve to come back, obviously, you don't know exactly what he did, he insulted us, sockpuppeted, and threatened us and more. He needs to stay banned. Also, I have seen on other wikis that deletion if the user page of a perma-banned user is common practice, sometimes they don't if they aren't a serious offender, if we deleted Gokan20's user page, we would have to delete all of his sockpuppet user pages. Crimsnnavy   C  S  23:15, September 19, 2011 (UTC)

Comment: Can we at least leave his userpage? I know this may sound weird, but I don't like deleting userpages, blocked or not. It isn't mine to mess with and should just be left alone, untouched. You have to look at it from every angle, not just the way you prefer. I don't mind if he is perma blocked, but I mind that his userpage is deleted. Technology Wizard · talk

Comment: Just leave all of the bans the same, we haven't discussed them for a while and we're all agreed that they should remain the same and unchanged. -- Hstar (Talk)
