Per my recent scanning of many articles, I noticed that the {{stub}} template looks a bit off. I just wanted to get other user's general idea of what they think about the placement of article management templates. Should they all be placed at the top to indicate if a page is in need of something?  Technology Wizard  Talk  Contribs  04:03, April 10, 2013 (UTC)

Please do define: "a bit off".   Slay Talk  "Shadows wonder why we scream."14:16,4/10/2013    4,527
The template's right half gets chopped off by infobox templates.  Technology Wizard  Talk  Contribs  18:00, April 10, 2013 (UTC)
It depends on what the template is. Some go at top, some don't. – EnemyPeacemaker 18:08, April 10, 2013 (UTC)
Usually the Stub template goes at the bottom of the article, above any drop down boxes there may be. Rainbow Shifter 18:19, April 10, 2013 (UTC)
Personally, if a stub template is interfering with an infobox like that (which could you provide examples of, please? [pages/images]) then the best interest would be to lower the stub template below the infobox via a clear template. I believe that's been semi-common practice here at this particular wiki in its earlier days. The Puzzle Master 18:40, April 10, 2013 (UTC)
I personally am not a fan of using the clear template at all. If the page isn't big enough in length that the stub template is interfering with the infobox, then the page is lacking too much content and should not have been made. – EnemyPeacemaker 18:48, April 10, 2013 (UTC)
Most of the time, yeah. That makes sense. The only issue is sometimes infoboxes are a little too lengthy, if yah know what I mean. The clear templates aren't the best, no, but it's better than having a template inside another (like physically on the page : P). And I also didn't mention in my last comment, personally, I think the stub template is the only article management template that should be put at the bottom. Typically, all of the others should be placed above the article. And I think I was looking around the other day and noticed that there were some of the article management-type templates in need of a new makeover. The Puzzle Master 18:54, April 10, 2013 (UTC)
A lot of the templates need a makeover. It's one of the things on my list. Only the stub template should be on the bottom. All others should appear on top and should only be used once. – EnemyPeacemaker 18:56, April 10, 2013 (UTC)
