It is one of eight elemental moves that do the same damage, 120 HP, consisting of Focus Blast, Fire Blast, Hydro Pump, Gunk Shot, Blizzard, Zap Cannon, Power Whip and Hurricane. It also has a chance of lowering the opponent's Special Defense stat.
