Flash Fire is an ability. If a Pokémon with the ability is hit with a Fire-type move, Fire-type moves will be powered up. This ability makes the user immune to Fire-type damage and when hit by a Fire-type move, Flash Fire will be activated. While subsequent hits by Fire-type moves will not provide a further increase in the damage of Fire-type attacks, it will still not take any damage. Will-o-Wisp will trigger and not leave a burn if the Pokémon is Fire. If Will-o-Wisp hits a non Fire type it will still trigger the ability, but will leave a burn. Flash Fire is not active while the user is frozen.
