Appearance
Contrary to it's appearance, Flabébé is not actually the flower but a tiny being on top of the flower. It, however, has to find a flower which it then protects its entire life. Each flower is different.
Flabébé has a green lower body with a single leg and white upper body with two thin arms. It has a white head, heart like ears, a pointed nose, red cheeks, black eyes and a yellow circle of hair.
Behavior
It lives atop a flower that it chooses soon after it's born and will care for its entire life. Players may see different Flabébé holding flowers of different colors when encountering them in the wild. Flabébé is able to draw forth hidden powers that lie within its flower and use those powers in moves while battling.

- Flabébé is the only Pokémon with a diacritical mark in its English name.
- Flabébé is the second pure Fairy type revealed, the first being Sylveon.
