Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs (Part One) (Japanese: ポケモンレンジャー 光の軌跡＜前編＞, Hepburn: Pokémon Ranger: Traces of Light (Part One)) is a five-minute-long special episode of the Pokémon anime based on the game of the same name.
Synopsis[]
Professor Hastings orders Ben to go to Dolce Island to stop the Pokémon Pinchers from capturing more Pokémon.
Episode plot[]
In the skies of the Oblivia Region, a wild Latios is being chased by the Pokémon Pinchers as they attempt to capture him. However, a Pokémon Ranger name Ben arrives with a Staraptor as he intervenes with their attempt to capture Latios. While battling with Ben, one the Pinchers realized that he's a Pokémon Ranger.
In a flashback, Ben is going to Professor Hastings for his mission as he tells him about the Pokémon Pinchers. After being brief on his mission, Ben captures a Staraptor then heads to the Oblivia Region. In the present, Ben attempts to end the Pinchers once and for all. However, the two Pinchers retreat while Ben continues pursuing them, but Red eyes attacks him then he and Staraptor fall into the ocean.
After reigning conciseness, Ben encounters a Pichu with a ukulele as he tries to befriend. However, Pichu is hostile with him, as Ben decides to capture it in order to calm it down.
