Waterfall Cave is the fourth dungeon in Explorers of Time and Darkness and Explorers of Sky.
Waterfall Cave is located a short Northeast Distance from Treasure Town.
On the player's first visit, prior to the player and partner discovering the cave, the location is referred to as "Secret Waterfall" instead.
Plot[]
The Player and Partner first visit the dungeon during their first official exploration. At first, all the two find is a waterfall, but when the Player touches to waterfall, they get a vision of a Pokémon jumping through the waterfall and reaching a cave on the other side. The two repeat what the Pokémon did and discover the cave. When they reach the end of the cave, they find a giant gem that triggers a flood when pushed. The Partner accidently triggers a flood that washes the two all the way out to the Hot Springs.
The two eventually report what the discovered to the guild. Unfortunately, the Player realizes the Pokémon from their earlier visions is Wigglytuff, who forgets he already visited the cave, meaning the two didn't find an unexplored area.
Prior to graduating from Wigglytuff's Guild, completing Waterfall Cave, even on revisits, leads to the Hot Spring.
The Player and Partner eventually return to the cave to reach the Hot Springs and speak to Torkoal about the Hidden Land.

- This is the only dungeon that must be revisited in order to progress in the story. Specifically, the player needs to revisit this dungeon in Chapter 16 after completing Treeshroud Forest.
