This Mienshao is a fighting-type Pokémon owned by Korrina.
Biography[]
As Mienfoo[]
Mienfoo is the first Pokémon Korrina used during the Gym Battle against Ash. During the battle, Ash and Hawlucha attempted to use Tierno's dancing strategy against Mienfoo. However, Mienfoo proved to be too fast and strong for Ash and Hawlucha, hitting Hawlucha with High Jump Kick, to handle since the strategy wasn't perfected yet. Mienfoo used Drain Punch, attacking Hawlucha. Hawlucha tried to attack with Karate Chop, but missed and used Flying Press, but got hit by Mienfoo's Swift. Upon remembering the advice Serena gave him during their training, Ash abandoned the idea and decided to go along with his original battling strategy. Hawlucha dodged Mienfoo's High Jump Kick and retaliated with Karate Chop. Mienfoo used Force Palm, but was defeated by Hawlucha's Flying Press.[1]
As Mienshao[]
Mienshao reappeared when it was sent out to battle Ash's Gengar. During the battle, it was switched out with Lucario thanks to its U-turn attack, where the latter defeated Gengar without difficulty. It then went up against Ash's Dragonite, but Dragonite proved to be a much powerful opponent when it used Dragon Dance to boost its attacks and speed. It was then defeated when Dragonite landed a direct blow in Mienshao's face with Dragon Claw.[2]
