This Glameow is a normal-type Pokémon owned by Johanna.
Biography[]
Johanna was an accomplished Top Coordinator, having won the Grand Festival trophy along with her Glameow.[1] During her time as a Top Coordinator, Johanna faced Lila, using her Glameow against her Delcatty. Glameow attacked Delcatty with Iron Tail, to which Delcatty disappeared for a moment to use Shock Wave, striking Glameow. In this Contest battle, Johanna lost, to which Lila ended her winning streak.[2]
Johanna and Glameow visited Dawn in her room, to wish her well on her upcoming journey.[1] Johanna and Glameow's Top Coordinator photos were remembered by Ash, Dawn and Brock, as they were going to Snowpoint City.[3] Upon finding a lost Pikachu, Dawn contacted her mother, who, along with Glameow, saw her Starter Pokémon: a Piplup.[4] Before her Super Contest in Jubilife City, Dawn called her mother, who was on the line with her Glameow, to tell her Dawn about the new dress she had sent to her.[5] The two watched Dawn's Super Contest of Jubilife City on TV.[6]
While on their way to Hearthome City, Dawn recalled the events with her mother and her Glameow.[7] After Dawn's failed performance in Hearthome City Contest, the next day, Ash and Brock contacted Johanna and Glameow.[8] She and Glameow watched Dawn's performance in Solaceon Town's Contest.[9] Johanna and Glameow watched Dawn's performance in the first round of the Wallace Cup.[10] Dawn's mom watched the performances on her TV with Glameow, seeing that Lila still hadn't lost her Contest charm.[2]
Johanna and her Pokémon, Umbreon and Glameow, awaited Dawn at Twinleaf Town. The two later battled against Dawn's Piplup and Pachirisu. Pachirisu used Discharge and Piplup used Whirlpool. Glameow and Umbreon used Quick Attack to dodge, and retalaited with Shadow Ball, which struck both of Dawn's Pokémon, Piplup used Bubble Beam to create a wall of bubbles to hold Glameow and Umbreon down, then Pachirisu used Super Fang to strike them. However, Umbreon and Glameow used Attract to distract Pachirisu and Piplup, and defeat them with Swift.[11] She was later used during the Twinleaf Festival battle tournament.[12] Johanna and Glameow watched Dawn's performance in Daybreak Town's Contest on TV.[13][14]
At a Trainer's School, Johanna went with Glameow to teach children about Contests.[15] Johanna and Glameow watched Dawn's interview and her appeals round performance during the Grand Festival.[16] Glameow continued watching her performances with Johanna,[17] who noted how her daughter grew up well, which made Johanna proud of her.[18]
Umbreon battled Dawn's Piplup and Dawn's Cyndaquil alongside Glameow. It was able to do some dazzling combinations with Glameow, executing Shadow Ball and Swift combos, but the duo missed. Piplup went atop on Cyndaquil, executing Bubble Beam along with Swift, to which Umbreon and Glameow used Iron Tail and Shadow Claw to stop their attacks. Piplup fired a Hydro Pump next, to which Glameow's Fake Out countered that move. Piplup and Cyndaquil unleashed their Whirlpool-Flame Wheel combination; however, the battle was stopped due to them fighting.[19]
