This Eevee is a normal-type Pokémon owned by Mikey.
Biography[]
Mikey's brothers all wanted to evolve Eevee, but Mikey hesitated in doing so, much to the anger of them and their own Eeveeloutions. To keep them from forcing him, he hid Eevee, tying him to a tree in the nearby forest until Ash, Misty and Brock found Eevee and brought him back to the address on his collar.
When Team Rocket attacked the brothers' evolution party and stole all the food, Pokémon, and evolution stones, after everyone from the party followed the trail left by Misty's Horsea to where Team Rocket stopped to eat the food, they defeated Mikey's brothers when they tried to rescue Eevee from them. However, Misty is able to rescue Eevee when she has Horsea blast Jessie in the face with its Sludge, knocking her over and causing her to toss Eevee's cage into the air, allowing Mikey to catch it and save his Pokémon, while Ash then had Pikachu electrocute Team Rocket in retaliation. Seeing that Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon were in trouble, Mikey proved that Eevee was strong just as itself and didn't need to evolve as they defeated Team Rocket in battle. Seeing Mikey and Eevee's power, Mikey's brothers agreed that Eevee shouldn't evolve after all.
