This Dragonite is a Dragon/-type Pokémon owned by Drake and is his ace Pokémon.
Biography[]
Dragonite was seen by Ash and his friends flying around the island where the battle against Drake would take place. It also easily defeated Team Rocket with Hyper Beam.
When Ash battled Drake, Dragonite was the last Pokémon Drake used and defeated Ash's Charizard, Ash's Tauros and Ash's Squirtle before Team Rocket attempted to capture it. Dragonite effortlessly broke the net and smashed through Team Rockets balloon sending them blasting off. It then battled Ash's Pikachu, but Pikachu managed to defeat it by using a point blank Thunder whilst positioned on Dragonite's head.

- Katsuyuki Konishi voices Drake's Dragonite in both versions of the anime.
- This Dragonite has been shown using more moves in a single episode/battle than any other Pokémon in the history of the anime.
- Unlike his other Pokémon, which he keeps in his Poké Balls at his belt, Drake keeps Dragonite's Poké Ball hanging at his chest on a necklaces when not in use.
