This Quagsire is a Water/Ground-type Pokémon owned by Crasher Wake.
Biography[]
Quagmire was used to battle Ash and his Turtwig. The latter fired Energy Ball, but missed, as Quagsire dived in the pool. Turtwig attempted to confuse it, but Quagsire fired Sludge Bomb and Ice Beam, severely hitting Turtwig. Turtwig was recalled before the former could defeat it with Sludge Bomb, so Ash then sent out Buizel. Quagsire evaded Sonic Boom, and when it tried use Ice Beam, Buizel used Aqua Jet straight into the Ice Beam, freezing Buizel but also allowing it to land an Ice Aqua Jet which knocked out Quagsire.[1]
A Trainer named Mamie, who started her journey, challenged Crasher Wake and his Quagsire, but lost the battle.[2]
