Fighting-type Pokémon learn specifically labeled fighting melee attacks, such as punches and kicks. Many fighting type Pokémon resemble humans in some way. Fighting types are often assocatiated with martial arts, athletics, and physical training. They usually focus on attack, rather than defense. The Fighting type is the only type that has not been paired with a Flying-type in a Pokémon. Fighting-types are resistant to Bug-types. They are powerful against Normal Type Pokémon. Not only that, Fighting-types are weak against Flying-types.

Abilities of Fighting Pokémon

Natural

Anger Point - Just the Mankey family.
Anticipation - Just the Croagunk family; This is a Bug/Ground ability.
Blaze - This is a Fire ability that nonly starters can use.
Damp - Just Poliwrath; This is a Water ability.
Dry Skin - Just the Croagunk family.
Effect Spore - Just Breloom; This is a Grass ability.

Inner Focus
Intimidate - Just Hitmontop; This is a Normal ability.
Iron Fist - Just Hitmonchan; This is a Ghost/Ground ability.
Justified
Keen Eye - Just Hitmonchan; This is a Flying ability.
Limber - Just Hitmonlee; This is a Normal ability.
Moxie - Just the Scraggy family; This is a Dark ability.
Multitype - Unique to Arceus (Fighting Arceus).
No Guard - Unique to the Machop family.
Poison Heal - Just Breloom; This is a Grass ability.
Pure Power - Unique to the Meditite family.
Reckless - Just Hitmonlee.
Regenerator - Just the Mienfoo family.
Shed Skin - Just the Scraggy family; This is a Bug ability.
Sheer Force - Just the Timburr family.
Serene Grace - Just Meloetta (Pirouette Form); This is a Normal ability.

Technician - Just Hitmontop; This is a Normal ability.
Thick Fat - Just the Makuhita family; This is a Water ability.

Defiant - Just the Mankey family; This is a Flying ability.
Mold Breaker - This is a Dragon ability.
Poison Touch - Just the Croagunk family; This is a Poison ability.
Prankster - Just Riolu; This is a Dark ability.
Speed Boost - Just the Torchic family; This is a Bug/Fire/Flying ability.
Swift Swim - Just Poliwrath; This is a Water ability.
Telepathy - Just the Meditite family; This is a Psychic ability.
Unburden - Just Hitmonlee; This is a Grass ability.
