Fantina's Drifblim was Fantina's main Pokemon in the anime.
Biography
Fantina's Drifloon hatched from an egg and inherited the ability to use Hypnosis from its father (the species of its father is unknown). Although it was young, Drifloon was very powerful. During Fantina's unnofficial battle with Ash, Drifloon defeated Ash's Buizel, Chimchar and Pikachu all by itself. During the battle it evolved into Drifblim.
After evolving Driblims already considerable battling skills improved even more. Inspired by Ash's use of Counter Shield, Fantina ordered Drifblim to create its own Counter Shield by using a combination of Will-O-Wisp and Psychic. Drifblim would also get in close to its opponents and then use Hypnosis before they could escape. It defeated Buizel and Pikachu a second time but was eventually defeated by Chimchar.

Trivia
- Apart from Brock's Happini and Misty's Togepi and Azurill, Drifblim is the only Pokemon that has been with a Gym Leader since it was an egg.
