Erma (Japanese: ササコ Sasako), also known as Chairperson Erma is the leader of the Ranger Union. Erma is stationed at the Ranger Union headquarters in Almia, whereupon she co-ordinates the day-to-day activities of Pokémon Rangers, Operators and Mechanics. She is good friends with Professor Hastings and Principal Lamont, all of whom went to the Ranger School in their younger years.
Personality
Erma has a very peaceful personality, as shown when she assists Hastings and Lamont to create the first experimental prototype of the Capture Styler, then known as the "Capture Loopy-Looper". She is also a very capable leader, as shown when she effectively responds to the looming threat of Blake Hall at Altru Tower with the top ranked rangers. Erma is also of very high caliber, as the Top Rangers who are classified as the best of the best report back to her, and are not stationed at any one Ranger Base.
History
During Erma's childhood, she met with Professor Hastings and Lamont to discuss imperative matters of peacekeeping within the regions. In turn, they discussed topics that they thought would benefit society. Erma suggested creating an organisation to work solely as an entity designed to regulate crime, which Hastings and Lamont agreed upon. Erma and her friends then went their separate ways, but all of their dreams are directly linked to one another.
