Contents

Appearance

Electivire is a strong Electric-type that resembles a yeti or sasquatch and has two long black tails with red tips that look like LED lightbulbs. It hangs around power plants to feed and gain more power.

Special Abilities

Electivire's special ability Motor Drive renders the foe's Electric attacks useless and just powers up the speed of Electivire, making it a formidible foe.

In the Anime

Gary has an Electivire, and used it to battle with Ash's Pikachu. This new Pokémon inspired Ash to go to the Sinnoh region when Gary told him that he caught it in Sinnoh. Electivire wasn't officially released yet and was seen in this episode. The episode was the finale to Pokémon: Battle Frontier, this episode also released the official English name for Electivire.

Evolution

Electivire evolves from Electabuzz when traded while holding an Electirizer. It is the final evolutionary form of Elekid.
