The Dusk Ball (Japanese: ダークボール, Hepburn: Dark Ball) is a Poké Ball that has a higher catch rate in caves and at night.
Locations
Generation IV
- Diamond, Pearl: the Dusk Ball can be obtained in Oreburgh City or Solaceon Town at the Pokémon News Press.
- Platinum: the Dusk Ball can be obtained in Oreburgh City, Solaceon Town at the Pokémon News Press, or on Iron Island.
- HeartGold, SoulSilver: the Dusk Ball can be obtained in Goldenrod City as the second prize on Friday at the Goldenrod Department Store Lottery.

- Black, White: the Dusk Ball can be obtained in Striaton City or Castelia City.
- Black 2, White 2: the Dusk Ball can be obtained in Striaton City, Mistralton City, or Twist Mountain.
