Driftveil City Gym is the fifth gym in the Unova region. Upon entering, the player must go down and up elevators and battle challengers along the way. Upon defeating the last trainer, the player will ride an elevator straight down to the Gym Leader. In Black 2 and White 2, The Gym is still located underground, but has been redesigned. There are platforms in a dark mine that light up by traversing different conveyor belts. The Gym Leader here is Clay who specializes in Ground-type Pokémon.
