BiographyEdit

It was used in his battle against Ash's Grovyle, which Altaria won, despite Grovyle's agility on the field. Grovyle didn't land a single hit on Altaria, and the Humming Pokémon smashed it through some barrels and into the wall of a cabin, knocking it out.

TriviaEdit

  • Dragon Dance and Hyper Beam were dubbed as Aerial Ace and Solar Beam but since Aerial Ace is a damaging move and Solar Beam takes time to charge up, it is assumed that Drake meant Dragon Dance and Hyper Beam. However Ash's Swellow has used Aerial Ace to avoid attacks as well as strike its opponents so it is uncertain if Altaria's move was a dubbing error, or actually Aerial Ace used in a purely evasive way. Additionally Altaria's Hyper Beam looked like a Solarbeam, except it charged up too quickly.
  • Drake's Altaria is one of the few Pokémon to use more than four moves in a single episode.
