Double-Edge (すてみタックル Life-Risking Tackle) is a Normal-type physical move introduced in Generation I.
[edit] Effect
Double-Edge inflicts damage upon the foe. It is a reckless, life-risking tackle. However, it also damages the user by a fairly large amount. In Generation I and II, the user receives recoil damage equal to 1/4 of the damage taken by the target. In Generation III and IV, the user receives recoil damage equal to 1/3 of the damage taken by the target.
