Discharge is a damaging Electric-type move introduced in Generation IV that has a 30% chance of paralyzing the foe. It strikes all the other Pokémon in a Double Battle and all nearby Pokémon in a Triple Battle. It was meant to lower the target's Attack and Sp. Attack stat instead of paralyzing it. It was also meant to let Ice Types use this as well.
