Diglett Village is an anime-exclusive location in Johto, more specifically located on Red Rock Isle. It is a small town with very few houses that is surrounded with forestry; however, it was once infertile land that, with the help of the local Diglett, was turned into the fertile land it was at the time Ash & Co. visited it.

The original villagers that built the village along with the Diglett all remained in the village, but their adult children moved into a nearby village that was also created by the Diglett. The Diglett Village villagers, though now elderly, continue to wage war against their children, believing that they were Diglett thieves, who in fact took up this role to ensure their parents were staying in shape and also to check up on them.
