Description
The attacker digs underground in the first turn, then pops up in the next turn to attack.
Effect
In Battle
While underground, the user avoids all attacks except Earthquake, Fissure and Magnitude, and will receive double the damage from them that they would have normally done.
Outside of Battle
In Generation I, when used in caves, it transports the player to the last Pokémon Center they stopped off at. In Generation II and onwards, when used in caves, it transports the player to where they entered the cave.
