Daybreak Ruins is a location in Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs.

Overview[]

The Daybreak Ruins are a set of ruins on the east side of Mitonga Island. The ruins have many mechanisms that require Psy Power or Burn to operate. There is a Tyranitar lithograph that can only be broken by clearing the final level of the Fire Temple in Multiplayer Mode. At the end of the ruins is involith Monument that is guarded by Entei.

The Player first comes here with Blue Eyes to trade her for the Partner that was kidnapped by Red Eyes in a prisoner exchange. After getting through the ruin's mechanisms and Pinchers trying to free Blue Eyes before the trade can take place, the two reach the end of the ruins where the involith lies. However, they are ambushed by Entei and the player has to capture it. After Entei is captured and its Ranger Sign is recorded, Red Eyes appears, has a Pincher remove the key to Moltres's nest from the monument, and conducts the trade. After the trade is finished, the Pinchers flee by using exploding Electrode as a distraction. After the blast from the Electrode end, the rumble created blocks the way out and the Player is forced to use Entei's Ranger Sign to summon Entei and use it's power to escape.

During the Quest, The Precious Berry, the friend mend berry can be found in a tree at the Daybreak Ruins. During the Quest, the Sad Suicune, the Player restores the damaged involith monument after receiving the stolen seal from a reformed Red Eyes. After the involith is restored, Entei makes an appearance to thank the Player.
