Dan ran the sand spa with his father. One day, a bunch of Sandile were digging in the sand, causing trouble for the customers. He enlisted the help of Ash and Iris for investigation. Soon, a Sandile with sunglasses took some of Ash's and Iris' Pokémon, so they all followed it. They soon realized it wanted to warn about the problems with the geysers, as other Pokémon needed to be saved.
