+ | Ash and Dawn eat the delicious cookies of the Twinleaf Festival. Johanna and Brock warn them they might eat more than they should, but they ignore them. Ash charges and bumps into Barry. ||
+ | Sayer reports that one of the salesman got ill, so Brock volunteers to step in. Pikachu uses Quick Attack, so Heracross retaliates with Horn Attack. Ash remarks Barry's strength and Barry is surprised to see a Xatu. Barry and Heracross go towards the Xatu. A blinding light affects them and a moment later, Ash is lying on the floor, without his Pikachu or Barry and Dawn. He sees that every Pokémon is gigantic, leading him to believe he is smaller. He runs from a group of Mightyena and falls down in a hole. The Mightyena go away, so Ash goes to find the others, while he also sees a Natu. |

He goes to get Heracross, but sees it is not present. Meanwhile, Brock is in charge of a stand. He sends his Pokémon to help out. Brock hits a Camerupt target and encourages the customers to go play the game. Team Rocket promotes their own game, which is to get the Goldeen. Some boys try to, but the nets are ripped. A man comes to try and James suspects he is good, as he might be the Goldeen Scoop Master. |
− | The scene moves to Dawn who is standing along a riverbank, calling for Ash, Barry and Piplup. A Fearow flies in the sky and a Magikarp and a Feebas jump out of the water. They are all bigger than usual. She sees a Natu hop by and looks it up on her Pokédex. She wants to send her Pokémon out but her Poké Balls are not working. |
+ | Barry came to a giant tree and recognizes it is the spot where he caught the Heracross. He sees some honey and paints the tree with it and soon a Heracross comes. Pikachu stops and Ash gets thrown away, so Pikachu gets the Spearow away with Iron Tail and Thunderbolt. They go away and soon Ash and Pikachu see the sun comes out of the clouds. Dawn searches for anyone and gets dragged to the Ariados, as they use String Shot on her. Fortunately, Piplup's BubbleBeam chases them away. With another BubbleBeam, Piplup gets Dawn down. The Ariados use Poison Sting, so Piplup uses Bide and takes the damage back. |
− | This time, the scene shifts to Barry sitting on the edge of a cliff, watching groups of oversized Tauros, Sandslash and Dodrio graze. He spots a Natu and follows it. |

Ash rides Pikachu and sees Natu again. He recalls Natu evolves into a Xatu, so they go after it, hoping to get answers. Piplup swims with Dawn and they go after Natu, who runs away. James and the Scoop master try hard, but the Scoop Master's net gets ripped, so he gives his Goldeen away. This inspires the crowd to play more. |
− | Brock is trying to run his booth and lets out his Pokémon to help him. He begins to play the games, but no one approaches. Team Rocket is watching people play their Goldeen scoop game, but no one can catch one on their net. Jessie gets mad when one of the kids say the game is rigged but James stops her from doing anything. Then a man walks up and grabs one of the nets. James observes him and informs them that the man may be the famous Goldeen Scoop Master. |
+ | Barry, Dawn and Ash bump into each other and get a headache. Thoguh happy to see everyone, they see Natu wants their attention and they see the circus. A moment later, Natu is gone and a Camerupt charges. Piplup's Whirlpool and Pikachu's Thunderbolt do not do a thing to Camperupt, so Barry tells them they need to hit by its side, on the rings. Heracross hits a ring using DoubleEdge, Piplup uses BubbleBeam and hits another ring and Pikachu's Thunderbolt hits the final ring. Natu appears and a bright glow emerges from it, as they find themselves on the same place where the circus was, but it is gone. |
− | Once again, the scene shifts to Ash walking through the forest and sees an oversized Rattata running past him. Then he accidentally steps on a Spearow's feather which begins to follow him but is taken out by Pikachu, who is also larger than normal. A group of Spearow show up and Pikachu takes Ash onto his back. As it starts to rain, the Spearow have already reached them and Pikachu stops, dropping Ash down. He uses Iron Tail and Thunderbolt to get rid of them. After the battle is over, the rain ceases. |
+ | Barry goes after Xatu and bumps into a man. The man recognizes Barry, as he is his father, Palmer. Sayer is pleased Team Rocket got so much business and so are Team Rocket. Palmer is told what happened and asks Barry if he belives if it was a dream. Palmer explains Xatu can see the future through the past, so Dawn, Ash and Barry have remembered what happened when they first met their Pokémon. Dawn asks Barry how he knew that they needed to hit Camerupt's rings. While Barry does not know, Brock is still bored, as nobody visited his stand. |
− | Meanwhile, Dawn is attacked by a group of Ariados which use their strings and trap her in their web. Then Piplup shows up and breaks the web with his BubbleBeam. He then catches Dawn and together they leave. The scene returns to Brock and his Pokémon standing at their booth with nothing to do. At the other booth the Goldeen Scoop Master has caught a large number of Goldeen. James intervenes and challenges the Master. |
− | |||
− | The scene shifts to Ash riding Pikachu who both spot the same Natu as before. Ash remembers the Xatu from the rooftop of the tent and orders Pikachu to follow it. On the other side, Piplup is swimming in the river with Dawn on his back. They spot the same Natu and begin to follow it. The scene reverts to the contest between James and the Master. Both are at the last Goldeen but the Scoop Master's net rips and James wins the challenge. Due to the excitement of the challenge, every viewer offers to take a shot. |
− | |||
− | The scene is back once again to Dawn and Piplup following Natu. Suddenly they bump into Ash, Pikachu, Barry and Heracross who were both following the same Natu. Then, the Natu creates an illusion of the Tent and summons a Camerupt. Ash and Dawn attack the Camerupt but it takes no damage. Then Barry comes up with the idea that they should hit it on the rings on its side. Heracross fires a Double-Edge and one of Camerupt's craters erupt. Piplup fires a BubbleBeam and the other crater erupts. Pikachu finally uses Thunderbolt and Camerupt sends out a large explosion. |
− | |||
− | They all then find themselves back outside the tent and find Xatu flying above them. Barry follows it again but eventually bumps into somebody, who was actually Tower Tycoon Palmer, and also Barry's Dad. The scene temporarily turns to Team Rocket being congratulated by Sayer and then back again to the group along with Palmer. He explains them about their encounter with Xatu from before. They all come back to the festival and Dawn asks Barry how he thought of hitting the rings on Camerupt. |
− | |||
− | The scene returns to Brock, still without customers on his stand, exclaiming how bored he is. |

Historical Mystery Tour! (Japanese: ネイティ、 ネイティオ。。。不思議な森!, Hepburn: Natu, Xatu...Mysterious Forest!) is the 36th episode of Pokémon: DP Galactic Battles.
Episode Plot
Ash and Dawn eat the delicious cookies of the Twinleaf Festival. Johanna and Brock warn them they might eat more than they should, but they ignore them. Ash charges and bumps into Barry. Ash asks him why is he here, so Barry reminds him he is in his home town for the Festival. Johanna tells Dawn that Barry's father and she are friends.
