Crystal Lake is one of the three lakes that have a Time Gear. The lake is guarded by Azelf.

To get to Crystal Lake, one must pass through the Crystal Cave, and at the end of Crystal Cave, there are different crystals, each in a variety of colors. When all of these crystals turn blue the Crystal Crossing will be unlocked.

Plot Edit

Azelf, with Grovyle, is waiting; Grovyle is threatning Azelf to give up the time gear. Azelf refuses to relinquish the Time Gear, so Grovyle beats Azelf down in order to take it by force, but upon nearing the gear, the limping Azelf sets up a trap with sharp crystals pointing out of the lake. As the player and his or her partner confront Grovyle, a battle between the two parties ensue.
