Crasher Wake's Quagsire was used to battle Ash's Turtwig.
Despite severe type disadvantage, Quagsire almost defeated Turtwig, but Turtwig was recalled before Quagsire could defeat Turtwig. Ash then sent out Buizel and when Quagsire tried to use Ice Beam, Buizel used Aqua Jet straight into the Ice Beam, freezing Buizel but also allowing it to land an Ice Aqua Jet which knocked out Quagsire.
