Counter is a Fighting-type move that does double the physical damage inflicted on the user to the opponent. It has a normal effect on every type but Ghost, where it has no effect at all. The enemy must attack first and after that your Pokémon attacks with Counter. Counter can never be used before the attack from the enemy.
