This Palpitoad belongs to Clay of Driftveil Gym, where he used it to battle Ash's Oshawott and Snivy.  It defeated Ash's Oshawott by seperating it from it's schalchop with Sludge Bomb then knocked it out with Rock Smash. Despite his supereffective Sludge Bomb, it stood no chance against Ash's Snivy, since it was hit with Attract first. It was able to endure Vine Whip and Leaf Blade before falling to a powerful Leaf Storm.
