Clair's Dragonair was Clair's main, and possibly most powerful, Pokémon.
Biography
Dragonair evolved from a Dratini that had previously been protected by Clair's Gyarados. After its evolution, Dragonair was used to help control an enraged Dragonite along with Ash's Charizard. Despite being Dragonite's pre-evolved form, Dragonair managed to hold its own against Dragonite.
Dragonair was the final Pokemon Clair used during her battle with Ash and defeated Ash's Pikachu with Hyper Beam and held its own against Charizard, going underwater to escape Charizard's fire type moves and even escaping from Charizard's Seismic Toss by using Twister. However Charizard eventually evaporated the water with a powerful Fire Spin and when Dragonair tried using another Twister to escape Charizard's Seismic Toss, the Fire type used another Fire Spin on the Twister causing it to heat up and then slammed Dragonair into the ground with a flaming Seismic Toss defeating it.
Dragonair also appeared in a flashback alongside Clair when Ash and his friends met Lyra.
In The Fires of a Red-Hot Reunion!, it was seen in a flashback using Iron Tail against Ash's Charizard and being finished with Seismic Toss and Fire Spin.
