Chili's Pansear is a Fire-type Pokémon owned by Chili. It is Chili's only known Pokémon.

Biography

This Pansear belongs to Chili of the Striaton City Gym and made its first appearance in BW005. It was the first of the three brother's Pokémon which Ash battled. It went up against Ash's Tepig and was defeated, despite Chili thinking he had the advantage because it was a fire type against a fire type and it was Ash's first battle with Tepig.

It was also seen in BW060 when Cilan battled with Chili, but Pansear ultimately lost. It then battled Ash's Oshawott and won due to Cilan helping Chili and Pansear train.

Chili then climbed up the tree, and apologized to Pansear for getting angry, and told it that he wanted to help it train. Pansear accepted it's trainer's apology, and the pair began taking advice from Cilan by teaching Pansear to learn [[SolarBeam]]. After learning the move, Chili's Pansear has a battle with Ash and [[Ash's Oshawott |Oshawott]] and won. Chili thanks his brother for his help, and they go their separate ways.
