Chespin (Japanese: ハリマロン, Harimaron) is the Grass-type Pokémon that is one of the Starter Pokémon in the Karos region from the Pokémon X and Pokémon Y Version.

TriviaEdit

• Chespin seems to resemble a tree - the head is compared as leaves and the body the lower part of the tree.
• Chespin is the first Grass-type starter Pokémon that is not reptile-based but based on a mammal, in this case a rodent or a marsupial. Judging by its Japanese name, it appears to be based on a hedgehog.
• Chespin will be the third grass starter to stand on two legs, with the first being Treecko and the second being Snivy.
• Chespin bears a resemblance to Generation V starter Oshawott.
