The Cherish Ball (Japanese: プレジャスボール, Hepburn: Precious Ball) is a rare Poké Ball only able to be obtained through receiving a Pokémon through means of an Event. As such, this Poké Ball can never be used to catch a Pokémon unless through a cheating device, such as Action Replay. A Cherish Ball can also come with a Pokémon over Wi-Fi in Pokémon Black and White.
Appearance[]
Red Poké Ball with a wide black band around the middle and red button.
Locations[]
Generation IV - VIII[]
- Cherish Balls are unobtainable. However, Pokémon received by events are found in Cherish Balls instead of Poké Balls.
Trivia[]
- This is the first Poké Ball to have a much less circular shape than the rest.
- When used in the wild, it has the catch rate of a standard Poké Ball.
