Trivia
- Celesteela is the heaviest known Pokémon, tied with Cosmoem.
Origin
Celesteela is based on a space rocket, a stalk of bamboo, and possibly a pun on "bamboo rocket." Its appearance also resembles Princess Kaguya, a figure of Japanese mythology who was born from a bamboo stalk.
Etymology
Celesteela is a combination of the words "celestial", "steel", "stelia", which is Latin for "star", and the suffix "-a" which is used in Spanish to represent a female.
