Professor Cedric Juniper is the father of Professor Juniper and the Former Expert Pokémon Researcher of Unova. Little is known about him. He looks older then most other characters but seems to get around as much as his daughter.

Personality

Just as Skyla stated when you meet her, she states that Cedric Juniper is a happy-go-lucky person.

Plot

He appears many times in the games, but he first appeared along with Skyla in Mistralton City. He appears again in Icirrus City where he checks out Dragonspiral Tower. He's also seen after you complete the game, where he upgrades your Pokédex to the National Dex.

In the Anime

Cedric made his appearence at the end of Evolution Exchange Excitement! where he showed up, exhausted, after Ash and Cilan's battle with Bianca and his daughter, Professor Aurea Juniper.
After recovering in the portalbe lab in Explorers of the Hero's Ruin!, he wished for volunteers to explore some ruins he found. Like in the games Cedric has a happy-go-lucky personality. He also warns Ash about the impending dangers and various traps. After finding what it was he was looking for, he parted ways with Ash and co.
