Byron's Bastiodon was Byron's main Pokemon.

Biography

At some point in the past, Byron revived a Bastiodon, or possibly a Shieldon, from a fossil and Bastiodon became his strongest Pokemon. When Roark challenged his father using his Rampardos, Byron used Bastiodon and the two Pokemon were evenly matched but Team Rocket interrupted before the battle could finish.

Bastiodon was the last Pokemon Byron used whilst battling Ash. It easily defeated Chimchar with Metal Burst and then battled Gliscor. Despite the fact that it was Gliscors first Gym battle the Fang Scorp Pokemon managed to hold its own against Bastiodon and finally defeated it with Fire Fang.
