Dewott is introduced as an Oshawott and approximentally 2 years in the past, it lost to Cilan's Pansage during a gym battle. It is the first Pokémon she sends out to battle Cilan, going up against Cilan's Dwebble. It has some powerful moves at its disposal, but they were unable to break through Dwebble's defenses because its ability is called Sturdy and it was sadly defeated.
In BW072: The Clubsplosion Begins!, Dewott reappeared to battle Iris' Excadrill in the Clubsplosion tournament. They started to battle in BW073: Searching for the Clubultimate! where Dewott used its new move Ice Beam, but Excadrill managed to get rid of the ice. It uses Water Pulse, but Excadrill used Dig to dodge it. Even though Excadrill is underground, Dewott still managed to aim Water Pulse at the hole causing Excadrill to come out. It used Razor Shell but it was countered by Excadrill's Focus Blast then it was able to block Drill Run. Dewott is also being resistant against Metal Claw and then it was able to use Revenge, a lot of power if the user takes damage. After their Razor Shell and Drill Run attacks were intercepted and Ice Beam was overpowered by Focus Blast, Dewott got knocked out after Excadrill used Dig and Drill Run. It is the signature Pokemon Burgundy uses, which is determined in the 2nd episode of the Clubsplosion
