As an Oshawott, Burgundy's Dewott lost to Cilan's Pansage during a gym battle. It is the first Pokémon she sends out to battle Cilan, going up against Cilan's Dwebble. It has some powerful moves at its disposal, but they were unable to break through Dwebble's defenses and it was defeated.
Around BW092 evolved Dewott to Samurott.
