Bronzong (Japanese: ドータクン Dohtakun) is a Steel/Psychic-type Pokémon. One of these Pokémon caused a news sensation when it was dug up at a construction site after a 2000-year sleep.

Revered as a bringer of rain by people thousands of years ago, this Pokémon is said to have summoned rain clouds by opening portals to another world. For this reason, it was revered as the bringer of plentiful harvests.

Bronzong's natural abilities cause it to have only one type disadvantage being that Levitate makes Bronzong untargetable by ground type moves and Heatproof makes fire type moves only do half the damage.
