It is shown that he is ready to protect anyone and is brave as shown as trying to protect the others during the magnet train fight in the G/S/C chapter.
Appearance
His appearance doens't change that much from the R/G/S Chapter to the G/S/C Chapter. His appearance still looks the same.
Plot Overview
Red, Blue and Green Chapter
Red battled brock for the Boulder Badge and almost lost when Pikachu wasn't listening to him; though in the end Red prevailed.
Yellow Chapter
Pewter City was attacked and just like the rest of the Gym leaders who got attacked, their gym badges were taken.
Gold, Silver and Crystal Chapter
He fought against Team Rocket along with the other Gym leaders in the magnet train.
