Bounce (とびはねる Bounce) is a 2-turn Flying-type move. The user jumps up on the first turn, avoiding any attacks, and then bounces down on the second turn, dealing damage. Bounce is like the HM move Fly, except Bounce does 15 more damage, and has less PP. It is used frequently by the elite four of Sinnoh. Dawn's Buneary knows the move bounce and used it while Dawn was trying to catch it.

The user bounces up high, then drops on the foe on the second turn. It may also paralyze the foe.

Contests

Can avoid being startled by others.

Super Contests

Earn +3 if no other Pokémon has chosen the same Judge.

Trivia

• Bounce is part of a group of similiar 2-turn moves, which includes Fly, Dig, and Dive. Bounce is the only one of these moves to have a possbile secondary effect, Paralysis.
