Appearances

Anime

In the anime, Brock also had a Bonsly, and eventually evolved it into a Sudowoodo.

Trivia

  • Bonsly originally made its video game debut in Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness; but it's anime debut was Lucario and the Mystery of Mew; where in the English dub was pronounced "Bons-lee".
  • Bonsly is said to be a very heavy Pokémon, weighing over 30 lbs., but May never seemed to have a problem carrying one in Lucario and the Mystery of Mew.
  • In Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team, Bonsly appeared as a doll, a game prior to Generation IV.
