Bonnie is a character appearing in Pokémon Adventures.

Appearance[]

This section, or a part of it, has been transcluded from Bonnie; any changes involving it should be made there instead. /

She is a small and slender young girl with shiny golden-blonde hair tied in a side ponytail with an orange band, and sky blue eyes. She wears a brown short-sleeved top with a soft black ribbon tied into a bow on the neckline, knee-length black compression shorts covered by a puffy white mini skirt resembling a cloud, pink colored Mary Jane shoes and a yellow shoulder bag. After meeting Squishy, a Zygarde Core, Bonnie's bag has been sewn with an extra slot to hold Squishy in it.

Personality[]

Bonnie is a frail girl, who fears for the worst and counts on her brother to fix the problems. In battle, however, Bonnie becomes very courageous, to help her brother.

Etymology[]

The name Bonnie comes from "Bonnie Brae", a type of lemon. This relates to her brother, who's English and Japanese names both originate from "lemon".

Her Japanese name, Yuriika, comes from the "Eureka lemon", another type of lemon. It could also come from "Eureka", an interjection often said when discovering something, which could relate to her brother's use of machines and being an Electric-type Gym Leader.

Biography[]

X & Y arc[]

Bonnie went to the Prism Tower after the battle between X and the Editor-in-chief. She saw the Editor-in-chief unconscious and also a broken window. The Pokémon in the Prism Tower gathered around her and Bonnie noticed that a Pokémon went missing during the blackout when she was counting the Pokémon. She then went to call her brother, Clemont, and told him about the missing Pokémon and what happened at the Prism Tower.[1]

Clemont and Bonnie joined Yvette, Alexa and Viola. Together, they destroyed Team Flare's defenses and went to destroy the stones at the Menhir Trail.[2] While Viola and the Sky Trainers went to attack, Clemont and Bonnie decided to crush the columns that absorbed the Pokémon's life energy. Delphox launched Mystical Fire, which Clemont dodged and pulled Bonnie from the attack. The Vivillon used Hold Hands and Safeguard to protect everyone from becoming burned; Clemont and Alexa. With Delphox distracted, Bonnie had Dedenne crush the columns with electricity and reported the success to Clemont.[3] In the end, Bonnie came with Professor Sycamore to congratulate the group of Vaniville Town for defeating Team Flare.[4]
