Wartortle BW Wartortle is the pre-evolution of Blastoise. This is the second stage.

'Blastoise' (Japanese: カメックス Kamekkusu) is a Shellfish-Pokémon and also the second out of 102 cards that is part of the Base Set. It is a Water-type Pokémon card which is also the final evolution of Wartortle known that this is the second stage. The card image has been illustrated by Ken Sugimori a key employee of Game Freak.

It crushes its foe under its heavy body to cause fainting. In a pinch, it will withdraw inside its shell.

  • On the card is said that Blastoise can use Rain Dance, it is true but Rain Dance wasn't introduced until Generation II.
