Blackthorn City Gym

Blackthorn City Gym is the location on where the Gym Leader Clair resides and she uses Dragon-type Pokémon. Even if defeated, the player doesn't receive her Rising Badge unless he/she goes into the Dragon's Den and does her request. In Generation II, the Gym had two floors. on the upper floor, the player has to use the HM Strength to move boulders to make a bridge on the bottom floor. In Generation IV, there's the shape of a dragon in the lava of the gym. The Ice-type or Dragon-type help defeat Clair's Pokémon quicker, due to Dragon-types being weak to those two types.
