Trivia

  • Bisharp's English name seems to be derived from the chess piece Bishop and the adjective Sharp.
  • Bisharp seems to have an ax like object as part of its head.
  • Bisharp, along with its pre-evolution are the first Pokémon to have a Steel/Dark-type combination.
  • Bisharp and Pawniard are the only Pokémon with the two types that were introduced in Generation 2, as well the only Pokémon with double resistance to Ghost types.
