Bianca's father's Darmanitan, also known as the Red Flash Darmanitan, is a Darmanitan that appeared in the "Enter Elesa, Electrifying Gym Leader!" battling against Ash's Oshawott in an important battle in which Ash's and Bianca's dreams may stopped due to the promise they gave to Bianca's father. Although Oshawott had the type advantage and all of Darmanitan's moves were fire type, Oshawott lost because of Darmanitan's high level.

Fortunately, Bianca's father didn't keep his promise and left the kids to their dreams.
