- Beheeyem's name makes the sounds of the letters B.E.M, which stands for; Bug Eyed Monster, a term some people used for aliens in alien sightings.
- Beheeyem's head and body look like bells.
- The communication through lights and sound on the colored fingers could be a possible refrence to close encounters of the third kind, where they used lights and beeping sounds to communicate with the aliens, further showing the possibilities of this pokemon being an alien
